The 3rd installment isn't as good as the previous 2 in my opinion. It felt too much like a political thriller, unlike the prequels.
The first 2/3 part of the book is mostly politics and sex... maybe a bit too much sex. Cade felt like a side-character, scarcely appearing between passages of politics, journalism and sex.
The story felt a bit dragged, the twists and turns too "artificial" for my taste. Especially the cliffhanger ending, that was out of the blue.
Maybe I just read this one too eagerly, too fast, I don't know, but I liked the prequels more. I'll have to reread it after giving it some time.
It was still an enjoyable read, of course. I liked it, and I recommend it to everyone who read the previous books.
Looking forward to #4.
